Continent is the first crypto-native travel app.
In the last few decades we've seen a shift in the travel industry from:
Travel Guide Books
Travel websites (TripAdvisor, LonelyPlanet, etc) to
Travel Creators in social media (TikTok, Instagram and Twitter)
The problem with this last model is that creators still don't monetize this content with their followers and people still need to travel. To solve this problem we're building travel's first crypto-native app for creators to create, publish and monetize maps with their followers. Users can access and interact with these maps directly in the app. Secondly, once users access or purchase these maps they'll be able to "check-in" and claim an NFT of each place they've been to eg. Colosseum Rome. Each NFT will be stored in their profile as a collectible of every place they've been to.
